Harvesting campaign completion
The weather this year behaved defiantly towards farmers and amateur gardeners. Dry August and torrential September could rob a large share of the crop.
Despite the weather conditions, the team of Baltic Seeds has already completed the harvesting campaign for seed potatoes. The crop has been harvested from over 330 hectares of fields.
The assortment of seed potatoes of the company "Baltic Seeds" includes more than seventeen different varieties: from original seeds (FFG) to the first seed reproduction (А).
Especially this season, the Dutch varieties Melody and Orchestra (Breeder: Meijer) were delighted. Both of these table varieties have shown decent yields, as well as demonstrated their resistance to diseases and viruses.
