On February 12, 2019 the representatives of Baltic Seeds LLC took part in an expanded meeting of the Council of the Union of Potato and Vegetable Market Participants in the Moscow office of the Potato Union. The current trends in the potato market were presented, current market issues were discussed, including the system of state trials and the way new varieties are included in the State Register of breeding achievements approved for use. A joint analysis of the immediate prospects for market prices of food potatoes was made, the current situation with the import of seeds for planting in season of 2019 was negotiated, and the current activities of the Union was discussed.
